Do FHA short sales forgive the remaining mortgage balance?

Yes, in most FHA short sales the remaining mortgage debt is forgiven after the sale is completed through the FHA Pre-Foreclosure Sales Program.

Do sellers receive relocation assistance in an FHA short sale?

Eligible owner occupants may receive relocation assistance after completing an FHA short sale through the HUD Pre-Foreclosure Sale Program.
